Addressing Drug Issues in Cass County
Evaluate and Improve Department Mentoring and Field Training Programs for New Recruits

I am a lifelong resident of Cass County. My wife and I, Kathy (Shrock) Rozzi have been married for 40 years, and we have three adult children, Jason (Michelle) Rozzi, Alisa Rozzi and Jacob Rozzi (fiancée Hailee Boehme). We also have 9 grandchildren. My mother, Helen Rozzi is 97 years old and still lives at home. My father, August J. (Auggie) Rozzi is deceased. I am the youngest o f 5 children. I have 4 older sisters, Vicki Hassett Enzweiler, Jeanette
Laird, Donna Stayer and Terri Smith.
I served on the Logansport Police Department after 35 years.
I am currently employed at Ivy Tech Community College in Logansport as a part time security officer, where I have been employed since 2010. I have also been employed part time as a security officer at Big R Stores and Cass/Pulaski Community Corrections, where I would check on individuals on house arrest.
My experience and career at the Logansport Police Department gave me the knowledge and experience to be your next Cass County Sheriff.
During my 35 years as a Police Officer with the Logansport Police Department, I served in the following capacity:
During that time, I attended numerous seminars and schools expanding my knowledge in areas such as Robbery, Homicide, Fraud, etc. I was the firearms instructor and the Pension Secretary for several years.
I have worked with numerous agencies, at the federal, state, and local level, including the FBI, DEA, Secret Service, and Indiana State Police.
My top priorities as your Sheriff will be to serve and protect the citizens of Cass County. I will uphold the laws of the State of Indiana. I will manage the department with transparency, professionalism and honesty. I will be a working sheriff, working alongside the deputies, assisting in any manner needed.
I am a registered Democrat. My father was a registered Democrat and out of respect for my father, that will never change. However, I have always voted for the person. I have friends on both sides and believe at the local level, party is less important than the person.
In my career as the Chief of Police, as a supervisor, and as a business owner, I have always looked at the best candidate or person for the job. I ask you to
contemplate this, truly consider the best person for the Cass County Sheriff when you cast your vote in November.
I look forward to being your next Sheriff in Cass County. I welcome any input that you might have regarding the direction of the department. I am proud of the service that I have given to Logansport/Cass County, and I hope to continue with that same honest & professional service as the Sheriff of Cass County.
